Teenage needs and wants

Within our local area there are a range of needs and wants that teenagers might have, but this does depend on there location within the country, depending on where you are depends on your needs and wants. We can see some of these within maslows triangle of needs.

Every teenager will have the same needs as the needs of a human being will be the same no matter who you are – you will need shelter, food and water, warmth and medical healthcare. This will be the same no matter who you are.

In terms of wants everyone is different and so you can never know what everyone wants however being a teenager myself i can assume some of these wants. Teenagers want to be entertained and so in their local are they might want cinemas, bowling alleys or ice skating rinks. Other than this teenagers always want to listen to an unlimited amount of music as occupation from the rest of the world is often key. They often want to keep up to date with technology wanting the newest phone or tablet. Girls often want jewelry whilst boys might want expensive cars or designer clothing.
